Medal Tour

The National Veterans Network is a coalition of Japanese American veteran and civic organizations nationwide
working with the Smithsonian on a Congressional Gold Medal traveling tour. The tour will honor the men
of the U.S. Army who were part of the 100th Infantry Battalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and the
Military Intelligence Service. The original medal will be displayed at museums in select cities across the United States
to honor surviving veterans and to educate the public about a group that overcame prejudice with patriotism.

Smithsonian Congressional Gold Medal iPad App and Web Site

In January, 2013, the National Veterans Network and Smithsonian Asian Pacific
American Program will launch a web site dedicated to the Congressional Gold Medal.
They will also release an iPad application. Check back here for additional details
and links when they become available.
