Oregon Nisei Veterans

The Oregon Nisei Veterans, Inc. (ONV) was started in 1948 with
the purpose of raising money to build a monument at the Rose City
Cemetery to honor the Nisei soldiers killed in action (KIA) during World
War II. Since then, those KIA from the Korean and Vietnam War have
been added. The first commander of ONV was Dr. Toshi Kuge.
